Shell Provider List Requests
If you represent a shell provider or know of a provider that should be added to the shell provider list on egghelp.org, would like to point out any outdated or incorrect information about a provider, or have found a provider that is no longer around or offering shells, fill out the form below. I'll then review the provider's website to verify the information. If you represent a provider and would like more than a text listing, please contact me for advertising info.
Read this before submitting:
- The list is for shell providers who offer accounts suitable for running Eggdrop. The provider must offer accounts with SSH access or telnet and FTP access and it must be specified in the product description. Otherwise, it isn't clear they're not "bot rental" accounts, and I won't add the provider.
- I do not add free shells. Eggdrop users are unsuitable for free services because they have relatively high resource usage and are targets for attacks.
- If the location of the provider is clear and obvious (e.g. there's a street address on a page titled "contact us" at the provider's site), they will be listed with the correct location. If the location is obscure (e.g. there's only a server location buried in the second paragraph of the "about us" page), there's a good chance I'll miss it and it will be listed as unknown.
- The above point also applies to credit card acceptance. If info on payment methods is obscure (e.g. on the third page of the order form) I won't see it and the provider will be listed as not accepting credit cards or PayPal.
- The "prices start at" field in the list is not based on bouncer-only accounts and accounts without shell access.
- Providers with non-English websites should include their information (prices, location, etc.) in the comments space below.
- If I got something wrong in the listing and you want it changed, you must provide the specific URL on the provider's website that has the correct information.
